The 'Book of Fans' has long been a classic that's worth remembering and continuing, especially since most people don't even know what a fan lamp is. A fabulous pattern book from 1984, by awesome artist Leslie Sharp. Contains 50 full size patterns and 22 color photographs and suggestions. These are great, great patterns in a huge array of patterns. There is literally something for everyone!
A fan lamp shade is THE perfect light for evening and overnight. A stained glass fan lamp enables the elderly and the young to see at night and safely make their way. Patterns range in skill from beginner to intermediate. They're like doing a large suncatcher. They teach you a lot of skills and are a wonderful way to use up all of your scrap glass!
I love how color changes everything and have made these fan lamps hundreds of times through the years. I especially loved the rose fan lamp pattern. Pictured are two rose fan lamps I made; one in an iridescent wispy purple and then one in a pink opal where I added some ruby jewels.
Considered new/old stock. Patterns are still attached and in excellent unused condition.
